EU Engagement Scholarships Postgraduate Taught Courses

The University of Strathclyde offers EU Engagement Scholarships to support full-time students commencing postgraduate taught courses in 2026/27, including courses starting in January 2026. The scholarships are available to EU nationals who meet the eligibility criteria and are automatically applied to eligible applicants. The scholarship values range from £5,000 to £12,000 depending on the faculty and specific programme of study. These awards are designed to support EU nationals who are self-funding their studies, resident in the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the UK at the time of application, and classified as international for tuition fee purposes. The scholarships cover a wide range of subject areas across four faculties: Humanities and Social Sciences, Strathclyde Business School, Engineering, and Science. Different scholarship amounts are allocated based on the faculty and specific programme, with Business School programmes receiving the highest awards (up to £12,000 for Accounting and Finance programmes) and other faculties offering between £6,000 and £8,000. The scholarship is applied automatically when students apply for admission, requiring no separate application process.
