Eugene R. Hinsz Animal Husbandry Scholarship

The Eugene R. Hinsz Animal Husbandry Scholarship is available to students who graduated from a North Dakota high school, or North Dakota residents who graduated from a North Dakota border-adjacent county in Minnesota, Montana, or South Dakota. The scholarship is specifically designed for students whose professional intent is to pursue a career in animal husbandry following their Bachelor of Science degree, rather than pursuing veterinary or graduate school. Recipients must be pursuing a major within Animal Science at North Dakota State University, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75, and demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. This scholarship recognizes students committed to directly entering the animal husbandry profession after completing their undergraduate education.
