About this opportunity
The Eunice W. Dougherty Scholarship is awarded to junior-level students at Eastern Illinois University who are pursuing majors in Business or the sciences, arts, or humanities. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence and requires recipients to be among the top 1/4 scholastically in their class with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.85 on a 4.0 scale. Students must have completed 60-89 semester hours with at least 15 semester hours at EIU. The award distribution ensures that none of the eligible colleges (College of Sciences, College of Arts and Humanities, and the Lumpkin College of Business and Applied Sciences) receives less than 40% of the awards. Overall GPA is based on both transfer credit and EIU credit. The award is announced in the Spring semester and paid in the Fall semester.
