About This Opportunity

The European Language Label is a language prize that recognizes educational institutions for excellence in language learning and teaching through Erasmus+ projects. The award encourages projects that demonstrate innovative approaches to language learning, contributing to improved communication and cultural understanding, as well as better opportunities for education and employment. Norwegian institutions can express interest in the European Language Label by indicating their desire to be considered in their final Erasmus+ project report. HK-dir then evaluates applications according to criteria established by the EU Commission, with winners announced in September. As of 2025, the European Language Label has been integrated into the European Innovative Teaching Award.
