European Universities 2026

The European Universities initiative is a funding opportunity under the Erasmus+ programme designed to further develop institutionalised cooperation among European higher education institutions. The program aims to make cooperation systemic, structural and sustainable across participating universities. The initiative seeks to increase quality, performance and international competitiveness of European higher education institutions. European Universities alliances bring together higher education institutions across Europe to create long-term, structural partnerships that promote European values and identity while strengthening excellence in teaching and research.
