About this opportunity
The Evan Gibb Hudson Scholarship in Engineering provides financial assistance to students enrolled in Part II, III or IV of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree who are members of the New Zealand Army Reserve. This scholarship was established in 1949 for the assistance of students in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Auckland. The fund was provided under the will of the late Mr Harold Willey Hudson, Auckland, as a memorial to his son, Lieutenant Evan Gibb Hudson NZE, who was killed in action in France on 9 September 1918. The scholarship provides annual financial support of $4,500 to one selected student and has a tenure of one year.
