About This Opportunity

The Evelyn Boekemann Scholarship provides financial support for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in vocational education and training programs at RMIT University. The scholarship provides up to $7,000 per year for the standard duration of certificate IV, diploma, or advanced diploma programs, and can continue as students progress into associate or Bachelor's degree programs. The scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate financial disadvantage and face circumstances that impact their ability to study, such as long-term medical conditions, disability, personal or family difficulties, or coming from under-represented backgrounds. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in semester 1 and 2 at RMIT, register with RMIT's Ngarara Willim Centre, and provide documentation confirming their Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity. The scholarship aims to support Indigenous students throughout their educational journey, helping to build resilience and remove financial barriers to education.
