Evelyn Moren Art Scholarship

The Evelyn Moren Art Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship offered through the Tarrant County College Foundation to support students pursuing visual arts education. This scholarship is specifically designed for students enrolled at TCC Northeast Campus who are working toward an Associate of Arts in Visual Arts (AAVA) Degree. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence in visual arts coursework, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all visual arts courses. Recipients must be currently enrolled at Tarrant County College and maintain enrollment in at least 9 credit hours during the award period, with at least 3 hours in visual art courses. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient achieves a minimum semester GPA of 2.75 while maintaining a cumulative 3.0 GPA in visual arts courses and completes at least 9 credit hours in the fall. Funded by The Northeast Art Department, this award varies in amount and does not require determination of financial need, focusing instead on rewarding merit and commitment to visual arts education.
