About this opportunity
The Botstiber Institute for Austrian-American Studies (BIAAS) seeks grant proposals for events aimed at promoting an understanding of the historic relationship between the United States and Austria (including Habsburg Austria). Proposals may include support for conferences, symposia, seminars, exhibits, workshops, lectures, and other events, including online events, in whole or in part. Eligible fields include history, politics, economics, law, or cultural studies. Event grants are intended for organizations and institutions, though individuals may apply on behalf of an organization if they are the project director or principal investigator for the intended event. BIAAS encourages proposals that facilitate promotion of grantee work, particularly those interested in contributing to the Austro-American Blog Series, The Botstiber Podcast, or the Journal of Austrian-American History.
