About this opportunity
The Everett and Roy Hill Music Scholarship honors Everett Hill, described as a free thinker who wanted to make his community a better place and shared a love of music with his brother Roy. This scholarship supports graduating seniors from Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan County high schools in Washington State who are seeking further education in the field of music. The scholarship places special emphasis on students pursuing music as either a major or minor field of study and who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is paid over two years and requires recipients to show educational progress in music and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA to continue receiving funds in the second year. This opportunity is supported, in part, by the Everett Hill Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation.
