Ewen "Lefty" Bryden Alumni Scholarship

The Ewen "Lefty" Bryden Alumni Scholarship is awarded to students majoring in Recreation Administration or Sport and Recreation Management at Eastern Illinois University. This scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 GPA and leadership potential through involvement in activities such as the Student Association for Recreation and persistent class participation. Recipients must have completed between 15 and 59 semester hours at EIU, including at least 5 semester hours in leisure studies courses. The scholarship is announced in the Spring semester and paid in the Fall semester, with award amounts that vary.
