About this opportunity
This scholarship has been established to reward high-performing students who are completing their Bachelor of Science (Advanced) degree with a significant amount of research experience in Green Chemistry and Materials Science, in parallel to achieving academic excellence at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is valued at $3,000 as a one-off payment to support domestic students who are double majoring in Chemistry and another discipline. Recipients must have recently completed a scholarship-based research project, have research experience in Green Chemistry (such as aqueous electrochemical synthesis or low-carbon materials), and be conducting non-credit research in green chemistry an average of one day per week alongside their coursework studies. The scholarship is funded by research funds of Dr Haihui Joy Jiang of the School of Chemistry and is awarded based on academic merit, interview, and academic CV including prior research experience and current research topic.
