Excellence in Public Law Scholarship

The Excellence in Public Law Scholarship is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in the Faculty of Law, JD Program at the University of Calgary. The scholarship recognizes academic merit in coursework focused on the field of public law, which includes work focused on constitutionalism (including federalism), the rule of law, and statutory interpretation. This award is valued at $10,000 and is available to Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents currently living in Alberta. Selection is made by the Faculty of Law, and students do not need to apply as nominations are made directly by the faculty.
