Excellence in Public Law Scholarship

The Excellence in Public Law Scholarship is awarded to students in the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta who demonstrate exceptional academic performance in public law coursework. This scholarship recognizes students enrolled full-time in their second or third year of law studies, with a focus on constitutionalism (including federalism), the rule of law, and statutory interpretation. Recipients are selected based on their academic standing in public law courses, and consideration is also given to students enrolled in combined programs such as the LLB/MBA program. Students must be Alberta residents and maintain satisfactory academic standing as determined by the University.
