Excellence in Veterinary Care Award in Honor of Dr. Fred Garrison and Dr. Michael Watts

This award is given to provide support to a fourth year student who has an interest in small animal practice and who has demonstrated superior knowledge, sincere interest in and concern for animals, enthusiasm for educating pet owners, collegiality with professional colleagues, honesty, and kindness in the provision of quality veterinary health care during their clerkship experience. The award recognizes outstanding veterinary students who exemplify excellence in clinical care and professional conduct. This scholarship is specifically designed for students in their final year of veterinary medical education who are preparing for careers in small animal veterinary practice.
