About This Opportunity

The Extended Bachelor Program Scholarship is a comprehensive scholarship and support package designed specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students commencing one of the Extended Bachelor Programs at the University of Sydney. The scholarship provides financial support valued at up to $8,500 per annum for up to four years, along with additional benefits including a laptop in the first year. The scholarship is awarded automatically to all eligible students who receive an unconditional admission offer for one of four Extended Bachelor Programs: Bachelor of Arts (Extended), Bachelor of Science (Extended), Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science (Extended), or Bachelor of Science (Extended) (Health). The stipend is paid in installments throughout the academic year, with $1,000 paid at the start of Welcome Week in the first year, followed by payments after successful completion of teaching blocks. In subsequent years, payments are made in two equal installments post-census dates. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment, achieve passing grades in all subjects, and participate in at least 2 hours of ITAS tutoring per week each semester to continue receiving the scholarship.
