Faculty of Arts Oppportunities Award

The Faculty of Arts Opportunities Award is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing entering the first year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Arts. Selection is based on indicated financial need and academic standing. Preference is given to students who are First Nation, Inuit, or Métis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) and/or students who are members of equity-denied groups and/or students who are members of priority populations supporting a diverse campus community. This entrance award supports diversity and inclusion within the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta.
