Faculty of Engineering and Design BE(Hons) Kick Start City of Sails Award

The Faculty of Engineering and Design BE(Hons) Kick Start City of Sails Award is funded by the Faculty of Engineering and Design at the University of Auckland. The main purpose of the Award is to assist students from outside the Auckland metropolitan area with set up costs for their first year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in the Faculty of Engineering and Design. The award provides financial support of up to $2,500 to help first-year BE(Hons) students from outside Auckland establish themselves as they begin their engineering studies. Up to six awards are offered annually to eligible students who are enrolled in Part I of the BE(Hons) program. The award is designed to ease the transition for regional and rural students relocating to Auckland to pursue engineering education at one of New Zealand's leading universities.
