About this opportunity
The Faculty of Engineering Credit Agreement Scholarship was established in 2017 by the University of Sydney's Faculty of Engineering to assist high achieving international students who apply for admission via a formal credit recognition agreement. This scholarship supports students transferring from overseas partner institutions who have completed at least 96 credit points at their home institution and have received an unconditional offer of admission to an eligible undergraduate engineering course at the University of Sydney.
The scholarship provides $5,000 per annum for up to two years to international students with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 75 or equivalent. Currently, applications are only accepted from students applying from Harbin Institute of Technology or Beijing Jiao Tong University who will be enrolling into either the Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or Bachelor of Engineering (Software).
Recipients must maintain a WAM of 65 or more each semester to continue receiving the scholarship. The scholarship is paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester and is subject to funding availability.
