About this opportunity
The Faculty of Engineering Entrance Scholarships program offers approximately 65 non-renewable entrance scholarships to outstanding students entering the University of Waterloo's Faculty of Engineering. Each scholarship is valued at up to $4,000 and is awarded based on secondary school academic performance, extensive involvement in extracurricular activities as assessed through the Admission Information Form, and performance in an online video interview. These scholarships are designed to recognize and support exceptional incoming students who demonstrate both academic excellence and strong engagement outside the classroom. The awards are available to students entering various engineering programs including Architectural Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geological Engineering, Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Nanotechnology Engineering, and Systems Design Engineering. Architecture and Software Engineering programs are excluded from this scholarship opportunity.
