Faculty of Engineering Platinum Entrance Award

The Faculty of Engineering Platinum Entrance Award is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing entering the first year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on indicated financial need and satisfactory academic standing. Preference is given to students who are members of equity-denied groups and/or students who are members of priority populations supporting a diverse campus community. This entrance award aims to support incoming engineering students from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate both academic merit and financial need.
