About This Opportunity

The Faculty of Engineering Research Scholarship (ERS) has been established to encourage and support outstanding higher degree research students within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney. The scholarships may be fully funded by the Faculty of Engineering or co-funded by external research grants or industry-funded research projects. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney's Research Training Program stipend rate, along with academic course fees and Student Services and Amenities Fee for international recipients. Engineering HDR students applying for admission will automatically be considered for this scholarship, and a separate application is not required. The award is subject to funding availability and recipients must withdraw applications for University of Sydney Research Training Program scholarships. Successful applicants are awarded the scholarship based on academic merit, their area of study and research proposal, or other evidence of research potential, as nominated by relevant research supervisors and the Associate Dean.
