About This Opportunity

This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to PhD research students within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney from the Middle East and North African region (MENA). The Scholarship is funded by the Faculty of Engineering and aims to support outstanding international students pursuing doctoral research in engineering disciplines. Recipients receive a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney's Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate per annum, maintained through satisfactory academic performance for up to 3.5 years. Academic course fees and the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) are also covered for up to fourteen research periods. Engineering PhD students from Middle East and North African region applying for admission will automatically be considered for this scholarship, with no separate application required. Selection is based on academic merit, curriculum vitae, and area of study or research proposal.
