About this opportunity
The Faculty of Engineering Research Scholarship for South Asia has been established to provide financial assistance to PhD research students within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney from South Asia. The scholarship offers comprehensive support for international PhD students from South Asian countries pursuing full-time doctoral research in engineering disciplines. Recipients receive a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney's Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate, indexed annually, along with full coverage of academic course fees and the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, curriculum vitae, and research proposal, with automatic consideration given to all eligible applicants. Students must hold a first-class honours degree or equivalent and have an unconditional offer of admission to the Faculty of Engineering. The award is subject to funding availability and recipients must withdraw applications for other RTP scholarships.
