Faculty of Engineering Research Scholarship for Southeast Asia

This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to PhD research students within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney from Southeast Asia. The scholarship offers comprehensive financial support including a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney's Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate per annum, indexed annually, for up to 3.5 years. Additionally, the scholarship covers academic course fees and the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) for up to fourteen research periods, subject to satisfactory academic performance. Engineering PhD students from Southeast Asia applying for admission are automatically considered for this scholarship, with no separate application required. Recipients must withdraw applications for other University of Sydney RTP scholarships to accept this award. The scholarship is funded by the Faculty of Engineering and is subject to funding availability.
