About This Opportunity

The Faculty of Environment Entrance Scholarships are awards offered by the University of Waterloo to recognize outstanding students entering first-year studies in the Faculty of Environment. These scholarships are valued between $1,000 and $2,000 each and are awarded based on academic performance. The scholarships are awarded in addition to the President's Scholarships based on early May admission averages. Students with an admission average of 95.0% or above receive $2,000, while those with averages between 90.0% and 94.9% receive $1,000. No separate application is required as students are automatically considered based on their admission average. Eligible programs include Climate and Environmental Change, Environment and Business, Environment, Resources and Sustainability, Geography and Aviation, Geography and Environmental Management, Geomatics, International Development, Knowledge Integration, and Planning. The scholarships are open to both Canadian/permanent residents and international students entering the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo.
