Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences: Scottish/RUK Postgraduate Deans Excellence Scholarship

The Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences at the University of Strathclyde offers Dean's Excellence scholarships valued at £2,000 to Home (Scottish) and RUK (Rest of UK) students undertaking full-time, one-year, on-campus Masters programmes or full-time LLB (Graduate Entry) Law programmes. The scholarships are awarded on merit rather than financial need, recognizing candidates who demonstrate excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained) and relevant extra-curricular or professional experience in their programme application. All eligible applicants are automatically considered for an award, with no separate scholarship application required. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis and may be allocated early in the application cycle, so early application for admission is strongly advised. Recipients are expected to engage with student ambassador activities during their course of study, such as supporting student recruitment activities and events. The following programmes are excluded from this scholarship: all PGDE programmes, MSW Social Work, and Professional Diploma in Legal Practice.
