About this opportunity
The Faculty of Mathematics awards several entrance scholarships valued at $8,000 and $10,000. The scholarships are continuing awards with payments distributed equally over eight academic terms. All applicants to the Faculty of Mathematics (excluding Software Engineering and Computing and Financial Management) are considered and a separate application form is not required. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of high school grades, performance on contests administered through CEMC, and participation and achievement in student government, athletics, music, art, etc. Students must write the Euclid Mathematics Contest or the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest and submit an Admission Information Form in order to be considered for an entrance scholarship. Renewal payments beginning in 2A are contingent on students remaining in full-time studies (normally 2.5 units) in the Faculty of Mathematics, and maintaining an 80% cumulative average.
