Faculty of Medicine and Health Executive Dean Stipend Scholarship

This scholarship aims to support a commencing or currently enrolled full-time PhD student within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. The Scholarship provides financial assistance to PhD students undertaking research within the Faculty of Medicine and Health. It is funded by the Faculty of Medicine and Health and offers a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate for up to 3.5 years, subject to satisfactory academic performance. Candidates are assessed and ranked based on paid work experience (20%), publications (60%, with the most points going to first authored Q1 journal publications), and other research outputs (20%). The student assessment accounts for 60% of the final score, while the remaining 40% is based on the supervisor's professionalism and collegiality rating.
