Faculty of Medicine Medical Endowment Scholarship

The Faculty of Medicine Medical Endowment Scholarship is a financial aid scholarship offered by The University of Queensland for students enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine program. This scholarship was established in 2018 and is funded by multiple donors who have contributed to the Medicine Scholarship Endowment Fund. The scholarship is designed to support students experiencing financial hardship and aims to assist with the completion of their medical studies. Eligible applicants must be enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Medicine program, demonstrate financial hardship, be in Good Academic Standing, and not hold another scholarship the Dean considers similar. The selection process considers demonstrated financial need, the strength of the applicant's personal statement outlining how the scholarship will assist completion of their degree, and any other matters the selection committee deems relevant to future academic success.
