About this opportunity

The Faculty of Science Health and Medical Science Research Scholarship is designed to support postgraduate research candidates in conducting health and medical research in Australia. This scholarship funds high quality students to work with academics that have been awarded an NHMRC grant in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney. The scholarship may be either fully or co-funded by the Faculty of Science or external NHMRC research grants, such as Investigator Grants and Ideas Grants. Recipients must conduct research related to available Faculty-nominated NHMRC projects under the supervision of researchers holding the relevant NHMRC grant. Current available projects include research on cellular responses to elastic environments (tropoelastin and regenerative medicine) and peptide chemistry for cancer therapeutics.
