Faculty of Science Opportunities Award

The Faculty of Science Opportunities Award is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing entering the first year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on indicated financial need and academic standing. Preference is given to students who are First Nation, Inuit, or Métis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) and/or students who identify as women or gender-nonconforming. This entrance award supports students beginning their undergraduate studies in science.
