About This Opportunity

The Faculty of Science Research Stipend Scholarship is a postgraduate research scholarship provided by the University of Sydney. It aims to support students undertaking research within a School in the Faculty of Science. The scholarship is awarded to students of exceptional research potential and is provided to assist with general living costs. The scholarship may be fully funded by the Faculty of Science or co-funded by external research grants, gift accounts or industry funded projects. It provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney's Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate, indexed annually on January 1st. This scholarship follows the Research Training Program (RTP) application process and is available for Masters by Research and PhD candidates who have been considered for an RTP Stipend Scholarship but have not received an RTP, University of Sydney Postgraduate Award (UPA), or equivalent primary scholarship.
