About This Opportunity

The University of Strathclyde Faculty of Science offers undergraduate scholarships of between £6,000 - £7,000 per year to new international students joining eligible undergraduate degree programs in the 2026/27 academic year. Up to 25 scholarships are available and will be awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who hold an offer of admission and demonstrate excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained) and any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience. The scholarships are awarded towards tuition fees and are renewable annually for the duration of undergraduate studies, subject to academic progression. Awards will be allocated on a rolling basis, with the possibility of scholarships being awarded early in the application cycle, so early application for admission is advised. The scholarship deadline is 31 July 2026. Eligible programs include degrees in Biochemistry, Biology & biological sciences, Biomedical science, Chemistry, Computer science, Forensic science, Immunology, Mathematics & statistics, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Pharmacy & biomedical sciences. Applicants must be new, international fee-paying students who are self-funded and hold an offer of admission for either year one or year two entry to a full-time, Glasgow campus-based undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science. Offer holders will be emailed a link to the scholarship application form within four weeks of receiving their offer. Successful applicants will be notified within four weeks of submitting their scholarship application form. Students are only eligible to hold one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
