Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited Entrance Awards

The Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited Entrance Awards are entrance bursaries based on financial need provided to students entering the University of Waterloo. Three awards, valued at $6,000 each, are awarded annually to students entering first year of a full-time undergraduate degree program who have demonstrated financial need and a minimum admission average of 80%. The awards are renewable for up to three additional years provided recipients achieve a cumulative average of 75% each year, and continue to enrol in their program on a full-time basis. Students are eligible regardless of their chosen undergraduate program. Interested students must apply for the University of Waterloo Entrance Bursary through the Awards and financial aid tab in the Waterloo application portal. The application is open to Ontario students who will be studying on a full-time basis and who are applying to post-secondary studies for the first time.
