Family Fund - Family Breaks Grant

The Family Fund offers family break grants to families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people in the UK. These grants work with a selection of UK partners including Inspire, Haven, and Butlin's to provide quality time for families to enjoy together and make memories. The grants cover a range of accessible, fun and scenic breaks in the UK or overseas, allowing families to spend quality time together. Families can choose from various options including camping holidays, cottage breaks, theme park visits, theatre breaks, adventure holidays, and trips abroad. The grants must include the main carer and the child being applied for, with options to add additional family members or carers. Applicants should provide detailed information about the type of break desired and how it will benefit the disabled or seriously ill child. For families in England receiving grants through the Support for Families with Disabled Children programme, breaks must be taken during school holidays. All grants must be booked within six months of issue, though travel dates can extend beyond this period.
