About this opportunity
The Farrand Scholarship in Agricultural Science (International) is an undergraduate scholarship valued at $20,000 per annum for up to 3 years, established in 2023 through a generous donation by the Estate of Annie Farrand in memory of Annie and her mother Annie Elizabeth Farrand. The scholarship supports exceptional international students from diverse priority markets studying the Bachelor of Agricultural Science or Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours) at the University of Sydney's Faculty of Science. Recipients are automatically considered based on their unconditional offer of admission, with selection based on academic merit as assessed from their application. The scholarship aims to attract outstanding international students to pursue agricultural science education at the University of Sydney. Recipients must maintain a minimum semester average mark of 65 and have no outstanding fees to continue receiving the scholarship. The award is paid in equal instalments after the census date of each semester and is tenable for full-time study only.
