Fartøyvern - fylkeskommunal tilskuddsordning

Rogaland fylkeskommune, in collaboration with the National Heritage Board (Riksantikvaren), provides grants for the restoration and maintenance of historically valuable vessels with connections to Rogaland. The program aims to ensure the preservation of a representative selection of older vessels that are important to the region's cultural heritage. Funding is primarily directed toward vessels that have formal protected or listed status. Vessel owners can clarify their formal protection status through a separate application to Riksantikvaren. The grant can cover up to 50% of budgeted costs for approved restoration and maintenance activities. To create greater predictability for applicants, up to two-thirds of the annual budget is earmarked for restoration projects with a duration of up to three years, while the remaining budget funds are allocated to one-year projects.
