Faste kulturminner

Norsk Kulturminnefond provides support for preservation and restoration work on all types of fixed cultural heritage sites, including houses and facilities, gardens and parks, and fixed cultural monuments in cultural landscapes. The fund normally contributes 30% of the total project costs. The age of the cultural monument is not decisive for support, but the fund normally does not provide support for protected (fredet) cultural monuments. Recipients can divide large or long-term projects into smaller parts and start with the most urgent work first. Payment of the grant occurs retrospectively after work is completed. Volunteer work can be calculated at 350 NOK per hour and counts as part of the private financing in the project.
