Federal Ministry of Education and Research: Digital GreenTalents Award
About This Opportunity
The Digital GreenTalents Award is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to find solutions to pressing sustainability issues and harness the potential of the digital age for sustainable development. Annually, a jury picks 20 highly motivated and talented young scientists from around the world who are excited about doing research on topics where digital technology and sustainable development meet. The award supports the international exchange of innovative digital ideas and offers a great opportunity for long-term cooperation with the German Digital GreenTech community. The core of the award is a 1- to 3-month fully-funded research stay at a research institution or company in Germany, accompanied by a mentoring programme. Award winners are invited to meet and network at the Digital GreenTalent SpringSchool. The competition is not only about what recipients do now, but also about their aspirations for the future. The award does not fund research projects, but aims to foster individual development.
