About this opportunity

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) is a federally funded grant awarded to undergraduate students who file the FAFSA and demonstrate exceptional financial need. This grant is designed to provide additional financial support to students with the greatest economic need. Eligibility is automatically determined based on the student's Student Aid Index (SAI), which must be equal to -$1,500.00. The maximum SEOG award amount is $260.00 per year or $130.00 per term. Awards may be reduced or eliminated if students receive additional scholarships during the year that reduce or exceed their financial need. This grant does not need to be repaid and is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible students at participating institutions.
