The Carlsberg Foundation provides funding for field trips abroad and research stays at foreign institutions with a budget exceeding DKK 100,000. This grant supports costs related to travel, accommodation, and transport for researchers conducting field work or extended research stays at international institutions. The foundation provides funding for additional expenses in connection with the inclusion of family for field trips and research stays at foreign institutions for a period of six months or more. The grant is designed to facilitate international collaboration and research mobility for established researchers. Applications must clearly demonstrate why the specific research institution was chosen and how the stay creates research synergies between the applicant's research and the foreign institution.
