Fenner School of Environment & Society Scholarship for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Student

This scholarship is offered by the Fenner School of Environment & Society at Australian National University. It is available for award to an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student who provides proof of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, identifies as such, and is accepted by the community/ies with which they are associated. Recipients must be enrolled in a degree program administered by the Fenner School of Environment and Society, including Bachelor of Science (Forest Sciences), Bachelor of Science (Resource and Environmental Management), Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (Sustainability), Bachelor of Environment and Sustainability, or Bachelor of Environmental Studies. The scholarship provides approximately $1,000 in total funding for one year. One scholarship is offered annually. Application is submitted in the form of a letter to the Deputy Director (Education), Fenner School of Environment and Society, including a brief statement setting out the reasons for application.
