Fern Cousineau Duncan Art Scholarship

The Fern Cousineau Duncan Art Scholarship was established by Mrs. Duncan's will to honor her legacy as an art teacher at Wenatchee High School from 1929 to 1959 and at Wenatchee Valley College until retirement. This scholarship supports graduating seniors from North Central Washington who are pursuing a career in the field of art, not just as a hobby. As part of the application process, students must submit a portfolio of their work, which is reviewed by a panel of local artists. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. The scholarship emphasizes supporting students who are committed to careers in visual arts including paintings, drawings, prints, and photographs.
