About this opportunity

Finnmark fylkeskommune distributes grants to festivals in Finnmark. The grant scheme aims to promote quality of life and joy through festivals as professional and cultural meeting places. Festivals must have content that presents art and cultural expressions to the public within one or more art forms: such as music, performing arts, film, literature, visual arts and crafts, including industry-focused festivals representing primary industries in the county and food festivals. Festivals must have a minimum duration of 2 days, a regional catchment area, and must receive support from their host municipality (in the form of financial grants, use of premises, resources, infrastructure, etc.). Applicants can apply for either one-year or three-year grants. For three-year grants, festivals must have existed for at least three years and have a board and bylaws. Festivals must strive for sustainable solutions in all aspects of production, transport and the event, and must accept approved companion certificates and strive for good accessibility for all.
