Festive Fund for Somerset

The Festive Fund for Somerset supports charities, community groups, sports clubs, and social enterprises in bringing people together during the festive season to spread warmth and cheer through food and activities. The fund aims to reduce loneliness and isolation by covering costs of food and/or festive activities between December and January. With approximately £10,000 available to distribute, the fund provides grants of up to £500 to help groups organize events and activities that support isolated individuals during what can be a particularly challenging time of year for many in the community. Priority is given to groups in more disadvantaged areas, those working with older people or individuals facing particular challenges such as disabilities or dementia, and organizations that actively collaborate with other groups to maximize community benefit.
