FGSR Opportunity Award

The FGSR Opportunity Award is designed to support undergraduate students from the University of Regina as they transition into their Masters program at the same institution. This internal scholarship provides financial assistance to entering graduate students who have recently completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Regina. The award is intended to facilitate the transition from undergraduate to graduate studies and support academic excellence. Up to ten awards of $2,000 each are available annually, with the possibility of increased amounts if matching funds are available from the student's host faculty. Students are automatically considered for this award if they meet the eligibility criteria, with selection based on highest GPA when there are more qualified applicants than available awards. The scholarship is non-renewable and can only be held once during a student's graduate studies career.
