FGSR UR Excellence Entrance Scholarship

The FGSR UR Excellence Entrance Scholarship is designed to support the best and brightest undergraduate students from the University of Regina as they enter their Master's program at the same institution. This scholarship provides $10,000 in funding paid over two consecutive semesters ($5,000 per semester). The scholarship is specifically for entering graduate students in their first semester of their first Master's degree program in any discipline. Ten scholarships are awarded annually to recognize academic excellence and encourage the transition from undergraduate to graduate studies at the University of Regina. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment and complete the Grad Thrive Plus GRST 801 course by the end of their first semester. This is a non-renewable, one-time award that requires students to have completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Regina with a minimum first-class average (80% or higher).
