Finance Honours Scholarship

The Finance Honours Scholarship is funded by the Discipline of Finance within the University of Sydney Business School and is intended to promote research excellence in the Discipline of Finance. This scholarship supports students commencing an honours program in finance at the University of Sydney Business School. Two scholarships are available with amounts offered based on ranking against selection criteria: $5,000 or $2,500, both payable for one year. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit and the application for admission into the Finance Honours Program. Recipients must be studying their honours year full time within one year and maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout the program. The annual payment is made in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. No separate application is required as students are automatically considered when applying for the finance honours program. Recipients may be invited to promote the program, represent the University at events, and fulfil the functions of a Business School Student Ambassador.
