About this opportunity
The L.A. Alexander Scholarships provide financial assistance to tertiary students studying subjects relating to primary industries, including agriculture, horticulture, forestry, veterinary programmes and all types of farming and related fields. The Trustees may grant financial assistance to tertiary students who were born, educated or are being educated in the Taranaki area, to enable them to undergo tertiary education. This scholarship includes two named awards: The John McIntyre Memorial Scholarship of up to $10,000 and The Kathleen Corlett Memorial Scholarship of up to $1,000, which may be awarded annually to selected students at the discretion of the Trustees. The program supports both upcoming and current tertiary students who meet the eligibility criteria, helping them pursue educational opportunities in agricultural and related fields.
